So I have to say that in all my years of buying a guitar, I have never nad such a bad customer service experience. It is almost comical. The guitar came with no anniversary gift pack. So I called and they said it would be shipped out right away. Long story short, after sending several emails, and talking to 5 different people (including the supposed head of service) Henry, still no gift pack. Each individual had a different story with three people swearing they would ship it out and send me the tracking # (which they never did) to one person telling me they were waiting on strings! It seems that they are coached to lie to the customers to placate them but do not ever follow through!
It is mind-blowing to me that anyone would run a business like this!
I have a real thing about integrity and would never recommend these people!
Shame on them!
Zager Guitars: Impressive Craftsmanship and Sound Quality with Exceptional Customer Service
I was blown away by the sound quality and the craftsmanship of this guitar. The attention to detail is impressive, and it is clear that the folks at Zager Guitars take pride in their work. The guitar arrived in perfect condition, and I was able to start playing right away. The action is low, and the neck is comfortable to play. The sound is rich and full, and it is easy to get lost in the music when playing this guitar.
One thing that I appreciate about Zager Guitars is their commitment to customer service. They are always available to answer questions and provide support. When I had a question about the guitar, I was able to get in touch with someone right away, and they were able to help me out. It is clear that they value their customers and want to make sure that they are happy with their purchase.
Overall, I am extremely happy with my Zager guitar. It is a beautiful instrument that is a joy to play. If you are a left-handed player looking for a high-quality guitar, I would definitely recommend checking out Zager Guitars. They offer a wide range of guitars to choose from, and their commitment to customer service is second to none.
14 Years Strong: My Zager Guitar Review
I gotta say, I've been playing my Zager guitar for 14 years now and it's still going strong. The tone is just so full and it projects like nobody's business. I've had a ton of acoustics over my 47 years of playing, but this one is definitely up there with the best of them.
What I really love about this guitar is how easy it is to play. It's almost as easy as a well set up electric guitar, which is really saying something. And the sound? Oh man, it's just as good as my late friend's Martin D41. I wish he was still around to play it with me.
All in all, I'd definitely recommend Zager guitars to anyone looking for a quality acoustic. It's been a real pleasure playing mine all these years.

Zager 900 Acoustic/Electric Guitar Review: A Beautiful Instrument with Top-Notch Sound and Service
So, my old lady got me the Zager 900 acoustic/electric guitar for my 70th birthday and I gotta say, it's a real beaut. I've been playing on a Martin DR for a quarter of a century and this Zager has a way deeper and richer sound. Plus, the fret/string distance is just right, making it a breeze to play. The action is top-notch and the Aura electronic package that comes with it is just amazing.
But let me tell you, the service and communication with Dennis and his crew has been out of this world. They really know how to treat a customer right. I highly recommend Zager Guitars to anyone looking for a quality instrument and top-notch customer service.
Buyer Beware: Negative Reviews of Zager Guitars on Acoustic Guitar Forum
I was looking for a new guitar and stumbled upon Zager Guitars. At first, I was impressed by their website and the positive reviews they had. However, I decided to do some more research before making a purchase.
I came across some reviews on the Acoustic Guitar Forum and was shocked by what I read. Many people were calling Zager Guitars "snake oil salesmen" and warning others to stay away. I did a Google search using "zager site:acousticguitarforum.com" and was surprised by the number of negative reviews.
It seems that many people have had bad experiences with Zager Guitars. Some have reported issues with the quality of the guitars, while others have had problems with customer service. Many people have also pointed out that the positive reviews on the Zager website seem fake, as they have far more reviews than other reputable guitar companies like Taylor or Martin.
I almost fell for the marketing tactics of Zager Guitars, but I am glad I did my research before making a purchase. I would advise others to be cautious and do their own research before buying a guitar from this company. Buyer beware!
Disappointing Experience with Zager Guitars: Defective Guitar and No Refund
I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with my experience with Zager Guitars. I ordered one of their Model 80 guitars back in April of this year, and when it arrived, it was clear that something was seriously wrong with it. I mean, it just didn't sound or feel right at all. So I took it to a buddy of mine who's a luthier, and he confirmed that the guitar was defective on multiple levels. Not good.
So I reached out to Zager to see what could be done about it. They told me to send the guitar back and promised me a refund. That was back in August, and it's now almost November... and still no refund. I've contacted them multiple times, and they keep telling me that they're working on it, but so far, nothing.
I did get an email from someone named Jamie back in August, saying that they'd cancel and refund my order immediately. But clearly, that hasn't happened. I'm not sure what's going on over there, but it's pretty frustrating. I was really excited to try out one of their guitars, but now I'm not sure I'd ever want to deal with them again.
Disappointing Experience with Zager Guitars: False Promises and Quality Issues
So I gotta say, I was pretty bummed about my experience with Zager Guitars. I had ordered the Zad900ce after texting with Dennis Jr. about what I was looking for in a guitar. As a newbie to the guitar world, I wanted something that not only sounded good, but looked good too. Dennis Jr. assured me that the guitar I would receive was serial #00013 and even sent me some photos and a video of Denny senior playing it. I was stoked to get my hands on it.
But when it arrived, it was a different guitar altogether - #[protected]. And to make matters worse, it had some serious grain runout. I was pretty disappointed and called to find out what was going on. Turns out, #00013 had some issues with the bracing and couldn't be satisfactorily repaired. They did offer to replace it with a guitar that would meet my approval, but unfortunately they were backordered. After months of waiting and reminding them, I eventually just sent it back for a refund.
To add insult to injury, I did some research and found out that Zager Guitars might not actually be made in the USA like they claim, but rather in Indonesia. That was a real bummer for me.
Overall, I was pretty let down by my experience with Zager Guitars. I had high hopes for them, but it just didn't work out.
Disappointing Experience with Zager Guitars: Faulty Electronics, Poor Customer Service, and Misleading Claims
I bought a Zager 50CE guitar from zagerguitar.com about a year ago. When it arrived, I noticed that the Fishman electronics were faulty and it was difficult to keep the guitar in tune. I contacted Zager and they sent me a new Fishman, but I decided to send the whole setup back to have them properly set up and replace their faulty work. They did pay for the return cost, which was nice, and they even sent me a whole new guitar instead of fixing the original one. I thought it was strange that they didn't send the original back, but I didn't think much of it at the time.
The second guitar arrived with a Fishman that called the "E" strings "D" strings, but I figured I could live with that. I keep all my guitars in a climate-controlled studio, so I didn't think it would be a problem. However, this last month I noticed that the neck was slowly twisting, and I went back and forth with Zager about it. They kept saying that it was my humidity problem because they use high-grade woods, and I needed to take extra special care of their high-end guitars. I was frustrated because I knew it wasn't my fault, but they wouldn't listen.
Finally, I decided to send the guitar back to them so they could see what I was talking about. It cost me $68 to ship it back to them, but I thought it was worth it to get the problem fixed. Today, I received a check for the price of the guitar MINUS the transport cost, which was disappointing. I don't understand why Zager gets such high reviews because my experience with them has been less than satisfactory. Also, I found out that the guitar is not made in Nebraska like they claim. It is only set up and finished for sale there.
By the way, when I showed my luthier (who has been in the family business for years) the Zager guitar, he asked me why I spent money on it. Of course, Zager claimed that my luthier was clueless, but I trust his opinion more than theirs.
In conclusion, I would not recommend Zager guitars to anyone. My experience with them has been frustrating and disappointing, and I don't think their guitars are worth the money.
